Nighttime Visibility
Nighttime visibility involves a driver’s visibility of objects and surroundings at the time of an incident. The Department of Transportation reports that about half of traffic fatalities occur at night, but only a quarter of travel occurs after dark.
Our nighttime visibility analysis evaluates the time of day, time of year, weather, vehicle, driver, reflective signs, pavement markings, and roadway environment to determine the facts of each unique case.
Highlights of our nighttime visibility services include:
- Vehicle and scene data collection
- Environmentally calibrated equipment
- High-dynamic range imaging methods
- Photogrammetry and photo-matching
